WHAT IS KOSHISH?

Institute of Computer and Finance executives (ICFe) launched a unique CSR initiative "KOSHISH-rekindling hopes, rebuilding society" on 4th March, 2009 to provide employment opportunities to people from the economically weaker sections, backward classes and the reserved categories.

We at ICFe strongly believe that the nation cannot progress unless the fruits of economic growth are shared by every citizen of India and believe that inclusive growth is a must to remove the wide ranging disparities in our society.

ICFe is a five year old educational brand with more than 60 branches in North India in the states of Delhi, UP, Himachal, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttrakhand. We are ISO 2000 certified and provide job oriented courses and training in the fields of Accounting, Banking, Insurance and Financial Services. We have on board, reputed collaborators and consultants like IIM Lucknow, which has designed our course curriculum; NIFM, Faridabad (an Autonomous body under the aegis of the Ministry of finance) which trains our Faculty; HCL Infosystems which provides IT hardware and software; BBC Active through Liqvid which is our partner for English Language and Soft skills and HDFC bank which provides educational loans to our students.

In order to facilitate the absorption of people from reserved categories by the private sector, we launched a CSR initiative "KOSHISH" in Delhi. We train this section of the society and impart job oriented skills to make them industry ready. We have appointed Mr. U.K.Sen, a noted economist and consultant to CII, and have initiated a dialogue with top corporates like Tata, Microsoft India, CISCO, etc. to be active participants.
